Denali
Built for Pierre Honegger in Italy by David Loring in 1954. Designed around a Mazda 2 rotor Wankle motor, it was the first prototype built Camel Light car for the IMSA Championship. With engineering help from John Ward and Tony Circale it led every race entered and won two years in a row at Limerock, CT.
Ground up restoration after Watkins Glen crash. Including new tub and bodywork, all new suspension, running gear with new motor and drive train. |
